I went ahead and took the summer off from blogging. It was pretty crazy for a while and so I decided to drop updating this blog. But now that our school year has almost started I decided to go ahead and start updating again. We start school on Monday or Tuesday. Robert has off [...] In my life this week: I’m trying to get back in the swing of things. Last week, Kaelee and I were at girls’ camp for our church. I didn’t have much to do, but I enjoyed it. Kaelee has been using Life of Fred (which I think is a wonderful program), but for whatever reason, it just wasn’t working. We’ve stopped and back tracked already once so far and she thought she needed to do it again. Instead, I decided to go *way* back and cover some of [...] In my life this week… I’ve been weaning Oliver. Not fun. But hopefully, it’ll be done soon. I’m also moving around the boy’s bedroom with the intention of getting both of them in there soon. Places we’re going and people we’re seeing… Visiting the in-laws this weekend. We school year round so we won’t finish up until end of August. A lot of things we’ve already finished, but we’re still working on [...] We’ve used a lot of writing programs. I bought it (and Help for High School) because writing is always something that we struggle with. Mainly because it’s something that I know is so necessary in life to do well. I can’t count the number [...] He’s only 3, so we don’t do much. I’m of the opinion that there’s too much pushing to learn to much at a young age. So until 1st grade all we will do is phonics, math, and lots, and lots, and lots of reading books. Last year we were part of a large group [...] While we were in Arizona, Kaelee finished up Critical Thinking, Book 1. We started it a long, long, long, long time ago. (But not in a galaxy far away.)
