Same as last time though. Except he’s worried about what’s happening because he doesn’t know why. So the cardio dr’s going to talk to Elliott’s neuro & ped drs and we’re going to see another dr and then we’ll see. Lovely.

Elliott has not been to school since last Thursday. He’s been really stressed on and off (getting more on than off) so I haven’t sent him. He threw up twice yesterday. Bad! So I took him in today. He has the flu. Even though he got a flu shot last month. Print this! We had it last week. Went okay (but *long*). His EKG & Echocardiogram were okay. But his heart rate was still low. So he wore a 24 hour Holter monitor, which basically kept track of his heart rate for 24 hours. I need to schedule a follow up and we’ll see then how the dr [...] Elliott had a neuro follow up. We all get in the van to go and it has a flat. Grr. So transfer to the car, and go into town. Elliott’s neurology appointment was good, except his heart rate worried his doc. It was 51. That would be low. Very low. So he had an EKG [...] Elliott’s vt found out that he *really* likes to be bounced. We’ve known that for a while and that he’ll respond and sit up more when that happens. For the past couple of days, Elliott’s been really grumpy. Not today. He’s been talking up a storm. So Robert was holding him while Kaelee and I [...] Elliott got his stander. It’s pretty cool. It’s a Gazelle prone stander. He doesn’t like it. It’s making him put weight on his legs and he’s never done that before. I put him in it on Thursday for about 5 minutes and on Friday I couldn’t move his legs without him crying. Poor baby. Then [...] We spent all of Friday afternoon in town shopping. While we were there Elliott’s gtube fell out. We’re not quite sure where it is or where it fell out. Lovely yes. Luckily I had an extra one and so we were able to go to the local hospital instead of the Children’s hospital.and on Friday [...] Elliott got out of the hospital last Saturday night. It took way too long. They kept coming up with something for him to stay in for. But he is doing a lot better now.and his vision teacher brought him a swing by. It’s a big, high backed swing. Special needs designed so that it will [...] I took Elliott to the ER Tuesday night b/c we saw dried blood in his backwash from his g-tube when he was throwing up. They looked at him, said he had a ruptured ear drum, go home. With meds. And to start his nebulizer back up. So he was to be on 8 meds. I [...] He’s opened his eyes a few times today and he hasn’t done that in a while. Also talking a little. Letting us know he’s not happy. I know it can take a month to get over RSV, but I think he’s doing a lot better. Still coughing a lot, but considering his swallowing problems, that’s [...] |
