The pattern is from youcanmakethis.com and the back patch is from Joanns. I tried using my cricut for for the 2, but it didn’t work at all. So I just printed a 2 out and cut it out. The patch had iron-on fusing, but it was so big I wasn’t sure it would stick [...] I’ve seen the cutest twirly skirts on some boards I visit and I’ve been drooling over them for a while. Well, I decided to finally (after 2 years) bust out my serger and use it to try to make one (or two). I found a tutorial at sewingmamas.com, but I altered it a bit. [...] Jason’s blanket. At the rate this is going, he can’t be born before June. It’s from Knitty.com Then there’s my first spinning. It’s rather bad. And not set at the moment, thus the kinks. But *very* thick and thin. This section isn’t too bad, but it ranges from lace/sock weight to bulky. I’m going [...] I finally finished the two baby blankets I needed to make. Good thing because one baby is already born. I now have two more to make.I made this circle one . The other one was a combination of this pattern and this one. They didn’t turn out quite as good as I wanted. One [...] I finished Kaelee’s hat. I started yesterday, worked on it during L&O then finished it this morning. It looks cool! The yarn is normally $8-12.00/ball. I got it for $2.00. It looks good. And b/c the yarn is bulky it hides any/all mistakes I made. |
